Lord God, from You every family in Heaven and on earth takes its name. Grant that Your grace may guide the thoughts and actions of husbands and wives for the good of their families and of all the families in the world.
Grant that the young may find in the family solid support for their human dignity and for their growth in truth and love.
Through the intercession of the Holy Family of Nazareth, grant that the Church may fruitfully carry out her worldwide mission in the family and through the family.
We ask this of You, Who is life, truth and love with the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Saints Ann and Joachim grandparents of Jesus and parents of Mary, we seek your intercession.
We beg you to direct all our actions to the greater glory of God and the salvation of souls.
Strengthen us when we are tempted, console us during our trials, help us when we are in need, be with us in life and in death.
O Divine Saviour, we thank You for having chosen Saints Ann and Joachim to be the parents of our Blessed Mother Mary and so to be your beloved grandparents.
We place ourselves under their patronage this day.
We recommend to them our families our children, and our grandchildren.
Keep them from all spiritual and physical harm.
Grant that they may ever grow in greater love of God and others.
Saints Ann and Joachim, we have many great needs.
We beg you to intercede for us before the throne of your Divine Grandson.

Heavenly Father,
We praise and thank you for the gift of our lives. Most of all, we thank you for giving us the Holy Eucharist and the Holy Spirit, your two greatest gifts.
We thank you for your holy servants, Saints Louis and Zelie Martin. They sanctified marriage by responding generously and heroically to your holy will through a life of virtue, surrender, and suffering. We ask through their intercession to hear our prayers for (mention your intention here).
Dear Saints Louis and Zelie Martin, you who shed copious tears over the loss of your four children, please bring our humble petitions before the throne of God and our Lady to turn their eyes of mercy towards us. Increase our confidence in God’s goodness and help us to surrender with serenity to his holy will as you did on earth, especially when our sufferings seem unbearable. Amen.

O Mother of Sorrows, you who once held your son and Our Lord in your blessed arms both at his birth and at his death, please look with mercy and compassion on our sufferings and grant us peace in our sorrows. Please kiss our departed child/children (name them) for us and keep them safe in your mantle until we meet again. Help us to unite our sufferings with Jesus and please grant us healing, hope, and perseverance that we might join you forever in Heaven along with all our family members, friends, and those in most need of Thy mercy. A prayer to Saint Catherine of Sweden for healing and consolation after miscarriage
Dear Saint Catherine, patron of those who have suffered a miscarriage, you know the dangers that await unborn infants.
Please intercede for me that I may receive healing from the loss I have suffered.
My soul has been deprived of peace and I have forgotten what true happiness is.
As I mourn the loss of my child, I place myself in the hands of God and ask for strength to accept His will in all things, for consolation in my grief, and for peace in my sorrow.
Glorious Saint Catherine, hear my prayers and ask that God, in good time, grant me a healthy baby who will become a true child of God. Amen.

Humble Virgin and Doctor of the Church, in thirty three years you achieved great perfection and became the counselor of Popes. You know the temptations of mothers today as well as the dangers that await unborn infants.
Intercede for me that I may avoid miscarriage and bring forth a healthy baby who will become a true child of God. Also pray for all mothers, that they may not resort to abortion but help bring new life into the world. Amen.
